Notice is hereby given that the Bay County Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program for the expenditure of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds for Fiscal Years 2023, 2024, and 2025 in accordance with the regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation, 49 CFR Part 26. The Bay County TPO has set a goal for 2.32% of all FTA assisted contracts to be let to qualified DBE firms for each fiscal year.
The proposed goal and the methodology used to arrive at the goal are available for inspection during normal business hours, from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. Mondays through Fridays, at the Bay County Transit Department’s Administrative Offices located at 919 Massalina Dr, Panama City, FL 32401 for 30 days beginning July 1, 2023 or on the Bay Town Trolley Website. A virtual public meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 20 from 2pm to 3pm Central Standard Time (https://baycountyfl.webex.com/meet/vphillips).
