Gulf Coast State College is proud to partner with Bayway to provide students with free transportation all semester long. Transit is an excellent way to get around, even if you have a car! Ride to campus without worrying about finding parking for class, or travel around town without burning gas money.

The University shall be responsible for all steps involved to determine whether a participant meets the definition of an Eligible Participant, the distribution of Student IDs to Eligible Participants, and tracking all Participants, as defined below, who are eligible for free transit rides.
An “Eligible Student” is defined as a person who: (a) is currently enrolled at the University; (b) holds a valid student identification card from the University; and (c) attends the University with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester.
An “Eligible Participant” is defined as an Eligible Student who has elected to participate in the Program and who is issued a valid Student ID.
Distribution of ID Cards
If a Student ID is lost or stolen, the University must report such lost or stolen ID card to the Bay County Transportation Planning Organization through the Participant Log List so that the Bay County Transportation Planning Organization can deactivate such ID card from being used to gain a ride on a transit vehicle. The University shall be responsible for replacing the lost or stolen ID card.
In no event can Student ID cards be provided to non-eligible participants of the University or to anyone other than an Eligible Participant for the purposes of allowing the participant access to free rides while utilizing Bayway.
